The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the best robot vacuum and mop combo advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do to locate your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want one of the best robot vacuum and Mop hybrid robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the hidden bin and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right like a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also features a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot vacuum cleaner with mop is still large--it is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping robot vacuum cleaner modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary cheap robot vacuum.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots of this price. It can create precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
