The headphones can connect to two devices simultaneously and will automatically pause playback when you remove them from your head, thanks to the built-in sensor. You can activate the ambient mode by placing your palm on the right earcup. This allows you to listen to the sounds around you without having to remove the headphones.

They can also be linked with your voice assistant. Bluetooth low-energy is also supported, as well as high-resolution audio (via LDAC). They come with a durable carrying case made of top quality fabric, as well as an USB-C cable for charging. It flashes green to signal rapid charging and solid blue to signal Bluetooth pairing.

The B&W app has similar controls to the hardware onboard buttons - bass and treble adjustment as well as action button assignment wear detection, the ability to cycle through ANC modes and more.
