The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it has received praise from its customers. It is incredibly lightweight with the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg. It is extremely easy to put together. In fact, I was able to get the whole thing up and running in just five minutes, which is impressive considering it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

The seat is large and comfortable for Annie who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of room and I like that the handle bar features an area to keep your phone and keys safe.

The handlebar is low, which may be a problem for parents who are taller. It's covered in a soft, comfortable leather-like material, and is easy to clean.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is for parents who love to explore and are always on the go. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field trails and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked to give you more flexibility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to ensure your child is safe on all trips while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving when you take a break. The seat can be repositioned to lay flat and the canopy can be opened to allow for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.

No matter if you're taking short jogs or a hike that lasts a while, the Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a reclining, fully-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise smooth, safe ride. The new Pace features some stunning design touches such as the rose gold hue to the chassis, hood and stroller trims that really set it apart from its rivals. The stroller and car seat fabrics are fashionable in grey, tan, and cream. You can also add handles made of leather and a bumper bar to complement.

The stroller seat can be used from birth up to 22kg. It can easily be converted into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has multiple lie-back positions, comfortable padded leg rests, and an extended sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed and a transparent flap, and retractable visor.

Furthermore, when folded, the Pace is 56 x 43 x 32cm which means it can be used as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among others. Two buttons on either side are easy to utilize and press into place.

Bugaboo Fox 5

The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out with my two kids - an infant and an eight week old - over the rocky roads along woodland paths, grassy trails and even cobblestones.

The large, puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in diameter - can handle different terrains. The wheels have an opening that can be closed or opened to let air in when required. It's a little larger than most pushchairs, yet it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you are pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable with it on busy city streets. It has integrated accessory points, so you can attach parasols and footmuffs along with changing bags, snack trays, and even snack trays. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, but it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single pram, but you can add their Comfort 3 wheeled buggy Board (not included) to give your child some extra legroom. It took about 20 minutes to assemble the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it to the seat.
