The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It's not the best vacuum robot and mop time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay if want to get one of the Best Buy Robot Vacuum Mop robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. If it encounters the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can need. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a set route.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots at this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
