Easy to install

You only need an electric screwdriver and a bit of patience. The first step is to take off the cover. This has to be removed before the new cover can be fitted.

After removing the old cover You can then make use of a flathead tool to remove the four main attachment clips from the passenger side of fob assembly. These are marked with red on the image below. Take note of the yellow tabs, which must be disconnected.

Replace the old battery with a CR2032 coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the fob's opening, and the "side that is "-" side should face the buttons made of rubber.

Reattach the passenger-side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you've done this, place the fob on the driver's side in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is functioning properly, the parking lights should be lit and the doors will shut.
