Similar to the iRobot Roomba robot vacuum cleaners the mop also comes with its own unique cleaning solution. You can set the frequency to spray water onto your floor and choose from three different mopping settings Standard balances cleaning power with area covered, while Deep boosts the power, but reduces the coverage to avoid stuck-on messes. Extended Coverage is a great method to quickly sweep large areas without becoming messy.

The m6 is compact and quiet it is a great choice for those who want to keep it running while you do other chores around your home. It also utilizes iAdapt 3.0 Navigation with vSLAM technology to learn the layout of your home and then create personal Smart Maps that guide it to specific rooms. These maps allow you to set virtual barriers, called Keep Out Zones, and gain greater control over cleaning tasks.

In our tests we found that the Braava Jet m6 did an excellent job of navigating and mowing our test floor. It left only a small amount of debris on the pads, and cleaned every kind of spill we tried (food-colored water, honey, and mud). It also performed very well in our hallway, which has many doors that open.

The app is easy to use and user-friendly. It's also a nice feature that the m6 works in tandem with iRobot Roomba vacuum robot cleaners, and will return to its original position after cleaning and continue where it left off when it mopped. There's also a useful feature that lets you change the direction in which the robot cleans, allowing it to move in a different direction or skip a particular area of your floor.
