During our testing it performed admirably on both hard floors as well as low-pile carpeting, picking up most of the smaller, harder debris we dropped on each surface and dealing with the larger crumbs of cereal that we dropped on the carpet. It's not as good in cleaning pet hair than a few of the best models we've tested however, and it might become stuck on toys or cords if you don't pick them up before you send the robot to clean.

In our tests, the i3+ EVO was clean for a period of about 90 minutes before its battery went low and it reverted to its original state. Eureka Q5 Pro is a solid option for those who are looking for a basic budget robot vacuum with mopping capabilities.

3. SwitchBot K10 Plus

The SwitchBot K10 plus is a great option to get a smart vacuum that can also mop. The robot is compact design which allows it to fit into small spaces such as corners and under furniture that larger robots can't reach. It also has a LiDAR sensor that can detect obstacles and prevent collisions.

During our testing, the K10 Plus vacuumed up pet hair as well as crumbs and other debris quickly and efficiently from our carpet. It also did a great job of getting into tight spots like under our bed and around the legs of chairs. In addition to vacuuming, it is also able to do mopping with a separate cloth or wet wipe. The K10 Plus comes with a small bag of wet wipes to get you moving.

The app for the K10 Plus is intuitive and simple to use. It comes with a variety of options for customization such as setting a time when the machine will not be disturbed, adjusting its map layout and setting a schedule of when it is due to clean. The K10 Plus's battery life is pretty decent too. We could get about three hours of cleaning of it on the full charge. It also charges very quickly. The iRobot Roomba S9+ belongs to the high-end S Series of the manufacturer that is above models like the iRobot Roomba J7 or iRobot Roomba i3. It's very adept at navigating around furniture and is able to work well on a variety of surfaces. The main brushroll comes with counter rotating scrapers made of rubber that effectively remove the majority of pet hair and debris from floors and carpets. Its suction strength in the real world is good for a robot but not as powerful as the more expensive models like the Roborock S8.

The design of the Roomba S9+ is elegant. It has an elongated frame that appears more modern than its rivals' circular bodies. This shape helps it to get into corners and along edges more easily. Although it may leave some dust behind in these areas in the event that the corner brush isn't turning fast enough, its powerful motor more than compensates for this.

In the tests conducted by iRobot it was found that the S9+ was able to pick up cat litter and pet hair easily. It also performed exceptionally on hard floors, where its powerful motor could take on all types of floors and edges and corners with ease. Its advanced vSLAM and Imprint Smart Mapping technology also made it one of the best navigators we've tested, and it has a an unshakeable grasp of its floorspace that could even locate its ways under sofas or beds with the drape of a valance over them.

The iRobot App is easy to set up and operate. You can choose the functions you want to activate during the initial set up process, or wait until you have an understanding of how it functions. The internal bin needs to be empty manually when it is full however, the process only takes about 15 minutes and is quite quiet.

The latest version of the Roborock S Series is a powerful mop and robot vacuum with a robust feature-set. Like its predecessors, it uses the LIDAR sensor and camera system for navigation and obstacles avoidance.
