The Ridge seat is higher than most other jogging chairs, allowing children to see their surroundings more clearly. Parents can recline the seat in various positions using an ordinary plastic toggle and two straps that are attached to the back of the stroller. The canopy is quite large and extends to provide more coverage on long walks, but the plastic cover could be susceptible to spotting dirt on muddy or rainy excursions.

Contrary to other joggers the wheels on the UPPAbaby Ridge are filled with foam instead of air-filled therefore there is no requirement to carry an extra set of tires or an air pump with you. The Ridge comes with an rear wheel lock that can be used for running and a wheel at the front which can be adjusted for different terrains. The cheapest model we tried, the Graco Expedition is a great option for parents looking for an enjoyable ride and plenty of storage space. It folds up small and can stand on its own when not in use. Its wheels were easy to maneuver around corners and roll smoothly on the different terrains we tested. It did not perform as well in the uphill direction when compared to the other wagons that we tested.

The Expedition has a parent tray with dual cup holders and an enclosed storage area. It also comes with a child tray with two cup holders along with a snack space and two cupholders. It can be used with a Graco car seat adapter to create an entire travel system. The canopy can be repositioned forward and backward however it is not large enough to provide much protection.

The Expedition includes brake pedals for both rear wheels. They're simple to release and activate, but the underside of the pedals is rough on bare feet or sandals. In our runaway wagon test, the brakes were able to stop the stroller that was weighed but it initially skidded before it stopped. This model does not have the 3-point harness. The cushioned seat is extremely comfortable however, the recline is limited. It's not a great option for runners who are serious about their training.
