Seats

The majority of 3 wheeler pushchair wheel double buggies are designed as single pushchairs. However, some models can be modified to accept a second seat with adapters. There are also models will allow you to add a ride-on board for older children who wish to walk but require a little help.

It can accommodate twins from at birth and accepts two car seats, or a carrycot with a seat. However, the seats have to be facing forwards, and there's not enough space to store a bag of groceries underneath, so you'll need a backpack for that.

Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a great single buggy from the beginning which is then able to take 2 (or 3 wheeled travel system!) Multiple configurations are possible. Suspension

The suspension of a double 3-wheel buggy will determine how easily you and your child/children are able to push it.
